Contract Manufacturing Administ
Overview: Primary interface with contract manufacturing suppliers to ensure that the products and services are delivered in accordance with the specifications, scope of work, and other terms and conditions of the agreement.
Responsibilities:
Execution
Administers and coordinates assigned activities related to all aspects of contracts between company and supplier.
Ensures that contract provisions are implemented efficiently and effectively, including receipt of service for payment.
Ensures supplier compliance to all aspects of contract terms, including safety, quality, delivery, pricing.
Monitors company performance relative to contractual obligations.
Activities may include participating in contract negotiations, renewals, and modifications with the buyer.
May assist in the process of contractor selection.
May assist in the development of scopes of work, cost estimates, and development of new project schedules
Communication
Establish communication processes to and from the contractor, including face to face visits.
Ensures concerned parties have access to up-to-date copies of the agreement and any other documentation relevant to the administration of the contract.
Protects and monitors use of trade secrets and intellectual property to prevent misuse or access by unauthorized parties.
Technology, Systems & Improvement
Identifies improvement needs at contractor’ s site.
Ensures corrective action is implemented to address any root causes for failure in supply chain KPIs that relate to the contract manufacturing supplier.
Identify opportunities to advance or protect Levan interests and pursue by engaging Sourcing and other pertinent functions.
Product Supply
Manage inventories at contractor’s site.
Addresses time-sensitive activity as needed to ensure continuity of service.
Supplies valid data to supply chain planners, reflecting the true production capability of the Contract Manufacturing supplier key resources.
Ensures the appropriate management of change protocols are utilized by the contractor in order to have timely release of products.
Conducts periodic performance reviews of the contract manufacturing supplier.
Capability Development
Complies with training requirements for the role.
Advancing Core Values
Establishes applicable S12Y audit schedules and participates in the audits.
Ensures contracts are managed per applicable laws and ethical standards.
Participates in risk assessments and implements risk mitigation actions.
Financial Impact of Operations
Ensures the accuracy of inventory records at the contractor’s site
Ensures the cost of materials from external sources is consistent with the agreement terms.
Ensures contractors receive timely payment for their services.
Tracks and manages yield allowance.

- • Manufacturing capacity from external sources that satisfy business needs over the DIBM planning horizon.
- • Applied Best Practices in contract manufacturing management.
- • Business with contract manufacturing suppliers conducted in a way that protects Levan interests and reputation.

- • Regulatory Compliance at contractor sites

- • Applicable government agency requirements for industry or operation

- • Customer Delivery Performance (DTP, OFLT) for contracted sites that ship directly to Levan customers
- • Supplier Delivery Performance
- • Capacity utilization, Aggregate Supply Performance and Yields for tolling operations
- • Unit Cost consistent with contract terms
- • Inventory Record Accuracy at contractor sites
Qualifications
- • 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, or Manufacturing (Manufacturing preferred)
- • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Training / Certifications
- • Contract Manufacturing Fundamentals and Contract Manufacturing Advanced Learning Programs within the first 6 months
- • IACCM Contract Management Practitioner (within first year)

- • Auditing training - Quality or SHE in the first 6 months
- • Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (may be obtained on the job)
- • APICS CSCP certification recommended for individuals pursuing to stay in the Supply chain function past current role
