Sales Account Manager
Core Responsibilities:
A Sales Account Manager actively works to identify and meet the needs of current and perspective customers by promoting and selling Levan adhesive..
Identify and develop selling projects around commercial and developmental opportunities for Levan adhesive solutions in Gr. China market.
l Launch new products into market.
l Effectively manage a key direct & distribution account and deliver upon annual growth targets.
l Develop and lead strong multi-functional account teams (Technical Service, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Customer Service) to effectively interface with customers.
l Successfully convert opportunities to sales growth.
l Effectively work across other region to leverage existing customer relationships.
l Develop Account Plans for Strategic Accounts.
l Achieve a high level of penetration across multiple functions (Procurement, Technology, Commercial, and Management) within customer base, maintaining strong relationships at all levels of customer organization.
l Effectively utilize available tools such as strategic entertainment and management interface to build customer relationships in line with account plans.
l Manage customer pricing strategically in line with business goals.
l Use account planning tools, margin management tools, and electronic technology to develop and share account plans with appropriate stakeholders.
l Develop and builds relationships with internal and external customers and influencers.
l Produce appropriate sales forecasts and is able to capitalize on/ compensate for market changes.
l Recognize, anticipate, and solve customer problems resulting in business opportunities and revenue growth.
l Achieve sales goals and objectives in assigned territory as derived by business strategies and marketing plans.
l Possess a thorough knowledge of assigned Levan products and targeted applications.
l Understand and proactively analyze customer’s product and service needs, industry, and business.
l Share business and industry intelligence with Levan counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, customer service, etc) to promote increased revenue and value
l Effectively manage sales terms and credit with assigned customers.
Required Qualifications:
l BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electronics Engineering or related field preferred
l A minimum of 5 years of adhesive industry experience is preferred, +8 years is preferred.
l A minimum of 5 years of Sales or Technical Sales responsibility, +8 years is preferred
l Self-motivated and focused with a passion for customer satisfaction.
l Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
l Exceptional Presentation skills as well as an experienced presenter in group setting to both technical and business audiences.
l Strong work ethic and “Can do” attitude.
l Able to work independently and as part of a team.
l Positive objective-oriented attitude and is able to work well in demanding and fast-paced environments.
l Must be willing to travel throughout Asia and UK.
